i've finally got the knitting bug back but i'm still not knitting big stuff i have no patience :( but i'm still going on with it i've been making scarves and i want to make more hats and socks but i'm really into this chunky scarf thing they are really pretty so maybe one day i will find the patience to make a sweater or something ..........................

it has been a long time since i have written anything but i have been so preoccupied that i have not had the time to knit anything so i apologize for all of u who come here and find nothing interesting, the blanket is a no go no patience for big things so i have to find smaller things i like to knit i really want to learn how to crochete but it looks so confusing but anyway the summer is coming maybe i'll find my muse and some time to start back knitting

i am officially starting to knit my blanket today i was going to use a pattern but i am just going to figure it out as i go the patterns looked to complicated, this will be my only project for at least 2 months i also want to start making baby layettes and sweaters i need more yarn and needles, i will also be making more hats and scarves to be ready for fall and winter. i believe i will learn to crochete this summer also, i also start guitar lessons next week and a pottery class

i finished the other things that i started so now i am looking for some spring accessories to try i am still reluctant to try and knit big projects but i believe i will try and make an afghan maybe if i start now it will be finished by next winter......ya think?

i ripped out the kufi i was following a pattern and i didn't like how it was knitting up i have the base for the kufi so i will make up my own way of doing it, i am finally starting on my cable scarf using a chunky yarn this is my first attempt at cable we shall see how it goes

i don't know where my sister gets her craftyness but she is really quite good with making things she got that crochete thing down packed, we have always made jewelry but she really gets into it, i don't know; anything crafty she does i,t we basically do the same things except certain areas are hers and others are mine. she is making jewelry for my locs i only wear shells every now and then but she is making jewels for me to wear.......

i finished the sweater for the dog not actually a sweater more of a cape i did not feel like doing sleeves knowing he is not going to wear it so i made straps to go under his belly and around his neck which still did not help he tried to bite me twice over that thing he kept looking at me like "you better leave me alone"

i made another hat the other day using gedfira gigante and chicknits h20 pattern it turned out pretty cute but it does not look right on me i think my hair is too fat because they all look real puffy when i put them on, i am finally making my puppy his sweater so far so good i am doing this freeform so i hope it turns out ok i need to finish by the weekend he just got his hair cut and they cut him too short and it is cold outside........i have yet to start on my cable scarf and hat i need a nice color

i am knitting a new pair of socks with that regia sock yarn on sz 3 dpn now i see why she calls her site toothpicks -n- dental floss you have to be a rocket scientist to knit with those things but i am determined to make the socks

i finished my hat for knitting class i had to switch to dpn's to close it got a little tricky but it turned out nice, also i finally finished the neverending scarf bout' damn time towards the end i did not put any care into it at all but that scarf was not it for me my next project is a cable knit scarf and hat set because i do not know how to do cables so this will be interesting i am also copying off of locqueen and making my puppie a rasta color sweater which he won't wear.......

i just finished another hat i made it with paton's decor it turned out rather nice i will post pics soon, i went to class yesterday i really didn't have anything i needed help with but i took a pattern anyway i am making yet another hat except on circulars this time i like making hats on the circulars better than dpn's i don't like the color i matched the varigated with it is a contrasting color but it is too bland for me............

i finally finished the sock now i have to finish the other one so i can give them to my sister. i have really caught the knitting bug my friends are now requesting things i want to knit the nurse of my clinic something for her baby i have to find the patience to do this, one of my co-workers wants two hats and two scarves another one wants some socks but they mostly want hats i guess i have alot of work to do and to finish that damn scarf......

i finally went to knitting class yesterday and she showed me the gussett i was doing it right just going the wrong way know i can finally finish my sock, the owner of the yarn store had some new yarn in and me and my sister went crazy and bought so much yarn it was ridiculous but the colors were so pretty, i have this thing now for varigated yarn i like how as you knit the colors just flow....
with one ball of it i am making another hat i don,t know what i'll do with the others. i am still knitting on the never ending scarf it has become my nemesis it is just a simple stockinette stitch but i have grown tired of it and the colors but it's for my 12 yr old cousin and she likes it i hope she can get it by christmas

i made another hat the other day it was cute i did it in all black but it did not fit my head at all so it is just a display i am getting pretty good at knitting because i am knitting faster i followed this

i finally finished my hat it is rather cute i am going to do a scarf and hand warmers in the camo, it took a week to do but only because i do not concentrate on anything i would have finished in a couple of hours anyway it is finshed and i am proud of myself

my index finger is so sore from pushing back the needle i have really been working hard on my things and now i have the soreness to prove it my mother keeps telling me that i will never finish a project because i jump from one to the other but now she can see my bruised and swollen finger that even though i jump around that work is getting done my hat is almost finished i can say that if i total my work up in hours it takes me only a couple of hours to finish something because i only work on my stuff for about 10-15 minutes a day 30 minutes at the most if not for my job and my two boys i could concentrate but my babies are not a hinderance but my job is but thats another blog..............

I have started knitting a fatigue color hat so far so good knitting class is cancelled for tomorrow so i cannot turn the heel on my sock, i want to move on but i'm scared it might not look right,anyway i really like knitting in the round i need more needles

i started on the heel of the sock once i finish the 25 rows i have to wait so the teach can show me how to turn the heel, i am going to start on a new bag today a bag i can actually carry, the other bag my baby took for his gameboy, my oldest son wants one now for his. i have started a new scarf with this soft chunky yarn from lionbrands it is a pretty color, i am still working on my cousins scarf i sware my attention span is really short, anyway i am going to actually finish something today

i finished my 5" of my sock so tomorrow i will finish the rest if the teacher lets me she is really strict on this knitting thing, i finished a bag last nite it only took 4 hrs the colors are a definite but the way i have them mixed up are not right i could not figure out to save my life how to add the loop for the toggle as soon as i figure out how to add links w/in my post i will put a pic up of all my projects.....

i am almost finished the 5" of my sock assignment i wish i could go to the next step i am so ready to finished to see the outcome. i am no where near finished my cousins scarf but it will be done before christmas. i am ordering a knitting machine soon so i can knit big projects like afghans and sweaters. i have alot of ideas so far i just need the time to do them i am so ready to start knitting hats. i have been thinking about getting into crochete again i want to make a couple of bags and hats with that i started a baby blanket years ago and never finished it so i might try to make another. i started knitting a purse but i have so many things going on in my head that i start and jump to something else i need to focus...

I just started a knitting class on saturday my first project is a pair of socks with this pretty wool yarn, soon as i figure out how to link stuff i will post a link to the site, and upload a picture of my socks, i have knitted two scarves so far they are pretty nice i just figured out that i was doing my purls wrong so now i know and will start another scarf soon...
